Ultra-simple, reliable thumbtack adjustment system

How to adjust your walking poles?
Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To adjust them: unscrew the middle section beneath the ring of the lower section, adjust to desired height (in inches), and screw back on firmly but not too tight. Do the same thing with the lower section. NEVER GO OVER THE "STOP LINE", or the pole may break during use.
Directions for use:
Before leaving: always check that your poles are well tightened.
The poles can be lengthened for example, for descents, or for a hard push up the mountain .
When walking downhill, it's best to remove the strap so the pole won't get in your way if you fall.
Accessories
Comes with a summer hiking (small diameter) unscrewable basket.
Compatible with wider winter baskets.
Product Testing
Bending and compression tests are done on extended poles to make sure they remain effective and can withstand stresses when the user has to lean on them heavily. Tests are also carried out to assess how the tightening systems cope with pulling, tightening and repeated stress, and pull tests on the tips and handles simulate poles getting stuck when in use.
